Printed car door magnets with your name, trade and number, made in our own workshop. On for the working day, off for the weekend, and no vinyl on the paint of a car you lease, share or plan to sell.
A magnetic car sign is your artwork printed onto flexible magnetic sheet and cut to shape, so it sits flat on a steel door panel and comes off by hand. It is the right choice when the vehicle is not only a work vehicle: a private car used for the business, a leased or novated car, a car shared with family, or a fleet car that moves between people.
We print and cut car magnets at our Ravenhall workshop, with no minimum order. One pair for a single car is a normal job.
Made by Melbourne Trade Signs, a large-format print and signage company at Unit 6/43 Orbis Drive, Ravenhall VIC 3023, in Melbourne’s west. Printed in-house and installed Australia-wide. Phone 0415 743 691, Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm.
Magnets suit tradies whose ute doubles as the family car, mobile businesses (cleaners, dog groomers, mechanics, tutors, real estate agents), and anyone who wants their name on the car during the week and off it at the weekend. They are also a cheap way to test a design before committing to permanent lettering.
Keep the layout simple: business name, what you do and one phone number big enough to read from across the road. That is what gets calls.
| Magnetic car signs | Vinyl lettering and decals | |

Running the vehicle full time for work? Vinyl lettering looks more permanent and needs no attention. Want the full trade kit, including job-site signs and stickers? See tradie signs.
Magnets only hold to steel. Many modern vehicles use aluminium, plastic or composite for some panels, especially bonnets, tailgates and bumpers. The easy test: put a fridge magnet on the exact spot you want the sign. If it grips firmly, a car magnet will too.
Yes. We print and cut custom magnetic car signs and car door magnets at our Ravenhall workshop in Melbourne, from a single pair upwards. Send your logo and the size of the flat area on your doors.
Only to steel panels. Some vehicles use aluminium, plastic or composite panels, especially bonnets, tailgates and bumpers. Hold a fridge magnet on the spot you want to use; if it grips firmly, a car magnet will hold there too.
The magnet itself does not, but dirt and moisture trapped underneath can mark paint over time. Take the signs off regularly, wipe the panel and the back of the magnet, and refit them to a clean, dry surface.
Magnets if the vehicle is also a private, leased or shared car, or you want the signs off outside work hours. Vinyl lettering if it is a dedicated work vehicle, because it covers more of the vehicle and needs no attention.
As large as the flat area of the door allows, with a small margin from body lines and handles. Measure the flat area on each side and we will cut the magnets to fit.
No. Remove them before a car wash and put them back on once the panel is clean and dry.
