Every business sign in one place — shopfront and fascia, window graphics, office and reception, vehicles, and site signage. Manufactured at our own workshop and fitted by our own crews, so one order covers the lot.
Business signage is every sign that identifies, advertises or directs people around a business: the fascia sign on the building, the lettering on the glass, the logo behind reception, the graphics on the van, and the boards on site. Most businesses buy these one at a time from different suppliers and end up with a set that almost matches. Bought together, they cost less and look deliberate.
Made by Melbourne Trade Signs, a large-format print and signage company at Unit 6/43 Orbis Drive, Ravenhall VIC 3023, in Melbourne’s west. Printed in-house and installed Australia-wide. Phone 0415 743 691, Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm.
The thing that separates a business that looks established from one that looks temporary is rarely the size of the budget — it is consistency. The same logo, the same colours, the same typeface on the door, the window, the van and the site board. That is much easier to achieve when one workshop makes all of it, which is precisely why we print, fabricate and install under one roof rather than brokering pieces out.
There is no minimum order. A sole trader wanting lettering on a ute door gets the same attention as a franchise rolling out forty stores — partly because we like the work, and partly because the ute customer is regularly next year’s fitout customer.
Six families cover almost everything a business puts its name on.
The sign above the door: ACM fascia panels, cut lettering and dimensional letters that identify the premises from the street. Detail on our shopfront signage page.
LED lightboxes, face-lit and halo-lit lettering and under-awning signs for businesses that trade after dark or sit in shadow. See illuminated signs.
Hours, services, promotions and branding on the glass — cut vinyl, printed window stickers and decals, frosted film and one-way vision. The cheapest signage that gets seen most.
Reception logo walls, meeting room and door signs, wall graphics and wayfinding — covered on our office signage page.
Cut lettering, printed decals and full wraps on utes, vans and fleets. The advertising that works while parked. See vehicle signage.
Builder’s boards, health and safety signs, hoarding and traffic signage for businesses working on site. See construction signs.
If the budget is limited, spend it in this order. It is not the order most sign companies would suggest, because the cheap items come first.
The common mistake is spending the entire budget on one showpiece fascia sign and leaving the glass blank and the van plain. Tell us the budget and what you are trying to achieve, and we will tell you honestly where it goes furthest.
Vehicle lettering first, then site boards and safety signage. Often no premises signage at all — the van is the shopfront. Add A-frames and corflute boards for jobs and open homes.
Fascia sign, window graphics, under-awning sign and A-frame. Illuminated if the street is dark after five. Seasonal posters and banners for promotions, refreshed a few times a year.
Building identification, frosted privacy film on glass partitions, reception logo and room signage. Quieter and more considered than retail — the details are what clients read as competence.
Building and gate identification, yard and parking signage, safety and traffic signs, plus fleet graphics. For groups with several locations, everything templated per site and rolled out together — see multi-site rollouts.
Straight off our camera — printed in our own workshop and installed by our own crew.

Three things do most of the work: something that identifies the premises from the street (fascia sign or lettering), something on the glass (hours, services, branding), and something on the vehicle if you travel to customers.
Everything else — reception logo, wayfinding, A-frames, banners — is worth adding once those three are working. Businesses routinely overspend on one showpiece sign and skip the cheap items that get seen more often.
The type of sign drives the price far more than the size. Cut vinyl lettering on glass is the cheapest way to look established. Printed panels and ACM fascia signs sit in the middle. Illuminated and built-up 3D lettering cost several times more because they are fabricated, wired and installed rather than printed.
We quote the actual job within two business hours rather than publishing a price list that would be wrong for most enquiries.
It depends on the sign type, size, zoning and whether it is illuminated. In Victoria, Clause 52.05 sorts land into categories with progressively tighter controls, and business identification signage in commercial and industrial areas is commonly permitted without a planning permit under a total display area threshold.
Internal illumination often triggers a permit on its own, and heritage overlays change the answer again. Confirm with your council before committing — we will flag the obvious issues when we quote. More detail on our permits explainer.
Both. We manufacture in our own workshop and install with our own crews, so a fitout can be one order and one install visit rather than four suppliers who each blame the others.
Supply-only is fine too — plenty of shopfitters take delivery and install themselves, and we will package and label accordingly.
Yes, and it is worth planning for the make-good clause from the start. Vinyl lettering, window graphics and film remove cleanly from glass and sound paint. Stud-mounted letters leave fixing holes that patch and paint in minutes.
Tell us it is leased and we will specify removable materials and adhesives.
Yes — multi-site is a large part of our work. Artwork and specifications stay on file per site, so store number twelve matches store number one even a year later.
Everything is produced together for consistent colour, then kitted and installed by location across every state.
